Repairs and Painting
After extensive water damage the areas adjacent to the large ‘oil on canvas’ painting required very delicate repairs and repainting.
At nearly 12 metres high the scaffolding was critically important and much care was taken to protect the oil painting. Before the repairs and repainting could take place we also had to clean the dirt and dust from the surface. Water had run down the face of the painting and left streaks visible from the ground, but with care and soft brushing we managed to clean it successfully much to the clients relief.
